Geographic Extent

Millstone Nuclear Generating Station, Waterford/CT/Long Island Sound (1979, Hoagland 1986; no longer present, Carlton, personal communication, 2000). Populations near the Millstone powerplant remianed small, probably limited by the low temperatures in surrounding waters (Hoagland 1983).
