Invasion Description

1st Record: Chidley Point, Perth/Western Australia/Swan River Estuary (1982, Willan 1987). This population apaprently became extinct after a catastrophic rainstorm, with freshwater flooding accompanied by a toxic algae bloom (McDonald and Wells 2010)

Chidley Point, Perth/Western Australia/Swan River Estuary (1982, SlackSmith and Brearly 1987; Willan 1987); Maylands/Western Australia/Swan River Estuary (1985, Willan 1987, extirpated in 2000, McDonald and Wells 2010)
