1st Record: Lithuania-Estonia/Gulf of Riga (Roch 1924, cited by Arndt 1984; Olenin et al. 1999; Olenin and Leppakoski 2000). However, this species was probably introduced within a few decades after canal construction in 1768-1775 (Olenin 2002).
