CA/San Francisco Bay (1983, Kozloff 1983, cited by Cohen and Carlton 1995)

In San Francisco Bay, the abundance and dominance of Bugula neritina varies with internnual cycles of precipitation and riverflow in the watershed. Bugula neritina at Richmond Marina, in the central Bay, is dominant during periods of moderate riverflow, less dominant in dry periods (28-33 PSU), and rare to absent during wet periods (22-28 PSU) (Chang et al. 2017).
