West Palm Beach (2001, Bieler et al. 2004, one adult shell, 2001, 30 m depth); wreck of the RV 'Thunderbolt', 6 NM S of Marathon Key/FL/Gulf of Mexico (Bieler et al. 2004); on the wreck of the USGC Cutter 'Duane,' just SW of Key Largo [near Molasses Reef]/FL/Atlantic Ocean (2005, USGS Nonindigenous Aquatic Species Program 2006); on the freighter shipwreck Eagle in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary/FL/Atlantic Ocean (established, USGS Nonindigenous Aquatic Species Program 2006)
