NC/Core Sound (Collin 2000); ; St. Catherines Island/GA/Sapelo-St. Catherines Sounds (Collin 20000Prezant et al. 2002) Populations found south of Georgia appear to belong to other species in the C. plana complex (C.depressa, C. atrasolea, Collin 2000).
