Invasion Description

1st Record: Olympia/WA/Capitol Lake (10/22/09, USGS Nonindigenous Aquatic Species Program 2009, freshwater, but adjacent to Budd Inlet, Puget Sound. A dam was opened to flush the lake with Sound water for an eradication attempt. This greatly reduced snail populations, but did not elimiate them (Leclair; and Cheng 2011), 1st Record: approx. 2.0 mi E of Cosmopolis/OR/Blue Slough, Grays Harbor (7/24/2013, USGS Nonindigenous Aquatic Species Program 2013), 1st Record: W of Burlington, Skagit County/WA/Indian Slough (9/10/2018, USGS Nonindigenous Aquatic Species Program 2018)
