1st Record: Indian Head and Blossom Pt./MD/Potomac River (O' Dell et al. 1976)

1st Watershed Record: Potomac River watershed/VA/Reservpors (1958, Jenkins and Burkhead 1993).

Geographic Extent

Potomac River watershed/VA/Reseroirs (1958, Jenkins and Burkhead 1993); Indian Head and Blossom Pt./MD/Potomac River (O' Dell et al. 1976); Lorton/VA/Gunston Cove (2007, Kraus and Jones 2012); VA/tidal Mattaponi River (Jenkins and Burkhead 1993). VA/James River in impoundments along the lower estuary (Jenkins and Burkhead 1993)

Lepomis microlophus were stocked in the PA drainage in 1971-1973 (Denoncourt et al. 1975b), but were not recorded below Conowingo Dam (McKeown 1984).
