1st Record: Tampa, Interbay Peninsula/FL/in a canal just E of Manhattan Avenue and N of Mango Avenue (1996, USGS Nonindigenous Aquatic Species Program 2009), 1st Record: Gretna/LA/Verret Canal (2006, USGS Nonindigenous Aquatic Species Program 2009), 1st Record: Terrebonne Parish/LA/swamp ~4 km east of Chacahoula on HWY 20 (2008, USGS Nonindigenous Aquatic Species Program 2009), 1st Tidal Record: [just W of Seabrook/TX/Horsepen Bayou (2008, Kyle et al. 2009; USGS Nonindigenous Aquatic Species Program 2009)

1st Watershed Record: Brazoria County/TX/Mustang Bayou, West Galveston Bay drainage (2000, USGS Nonindigenous Aquatic Species Program 2009), 1st Record: Terrebonne County/LA/Bayou Chacahoula (2008, Buskey, 8/21/2011), 1st Record: Langan Park, Mobile/AL/Mobile-Tensaw Delta watershed (2003, Martin et al. 2012; Low and Anderson 2017); Eradication efforts, using traps and copper sulfate, began in 2009, and snail populations were reduced by 2010, but some individuals have survived (Martin 2012)
